My recent stay at the Coach House was an intriguing mix of comfort and practicality, perfectly suited for both short and longer escapes. Located in a quiet area, it provided an excellent retreat while being a mere 10-minute walk to amenities - just keep in mind the steep return for those who might find hills challenging. The property is well-equipped with essential amenities, including a snug lounge that was surprisingly warm, and a kitchen stocked with cookware and kitchen utensils, making self-catering a breeze. I particularly appreciated the extra freezer in the utility area, a thoughtful addition for longer stays. Parking is ample and convenient, with space for two cars behind a secure gate. The fenced garden was ideal for my pup, who loved it as much as I enjoyed the outdoor seating area for a leisurely breakfast. While the Coach House's rates may seem slightly elevated, the combination of space, facilities, and location provides good value, especially for those traveling with pets or in larger groups. It felt like a smart choice for those looking to balance luxury with practicality without straining the wallet too much. I’d happily return.
